What is The Book on Fouling?
- have a look!

(- revised version out now!)
About Book on Fouling
(UK/Shetland - Ireland)

We get a lot of questions regarding fouling challenges in aquaculture. And increasingly so.

This is, however, to be expected as the area is getting ever more complex, due to increasing water temperatures and new species.

Knowledge is important for the industry
We are convinced that more knowledge about the different fouling-species as well as insight into the various mechanisms fueling the growth is of paramount importance.

Marine fouling is a growing problem and concern - and a time-consuming and costly challenge for the industry.

Enabling well-founded decisions
Based on more knowledge, we can all make more well-founded decisions regarding methods, net-strategies and treatment of nets.

Decisions that secure what we alle strive for:
Healthy fish with adequate oxygen levels and optimal conditions for growth.
